hi there,
it's time for another quick and easy dish. this one is for pasta!!!!!!!!!
i don't know how many people like spam, but it can be a very good substitute for ground beef or turkey in pasta sauce and now comes in different varieties other than pork.
now as i said before, most of my meals are designed for a family of four because that's the size i have, lol.

ingredients:

1 can spam
1 small onion
2 small cloves garlic
1/2 green pepper
1 c ketchup
1 dash hotsauce
1 box pasta ( doesn't matter which)

remove spam onto a dish or carving board
cut lengthwise 4 or 5 times
cut widthwise 8-10 times

brown spam, green pepper, garlic and onion in 2 tb olive oil
bring a large pot of water to boil for pasta while browning other ingredints
add pasta to boiling water, cook til desired doneness
drain oil from spam, add ketchup and hotsauce
allow to simmer on very low
add pasta and combine with meat sauce

Voile, dinner is served in less than 20 mins

once again, i hope you all enjoy this dish and will leave 1 of your own in return.

if anyone wishes to talk about anything else, feel free to jump right in, it's hard to start a conversation with myself, you might think i'm crazy, lol

Welcome!!

Hi everyone
This my first attempt at blogging, believe it or not. And I have decided that, with the price of everything going through the roof, we should try and find some inexpensive ways to prepare meals for our families.

Here's a quick and easy way to serve your family calzone:

1 ball of pizza dough from your local pizza place
any cheap or homemade tomato sauce
1/2 a small onion
1/3 green pepper
1/4 c. mozzerella cheese
3 button mushrooms

divid dough into 8 equal parts
fill with above ingredints
fold over ends to close in cresent shape or as you would a diaper
bake at 350 in preheated oven til golden brown
serve warm

you can also add any choice of meat ( sauage, ground beef, turkey chunks)

i have made these calzone several times for my family and they love them better than the one's from the pizza shop. you can also customize them for each family member.

hope you all enjoy them!!!!!!!!

come back tomorrow for a new receipe. and don"t forget to leave 1 of your own
